London, UK (29 December 2021): Global strategic consulting firm Alpha1Strategy on December 29 launched the Global Overview 2022, the global calendar of the most important political and economic milestone dates for the year.
The Global Overview marks events and dates in the eighth year until the United Nations’ Global Goals Agenda 2030, during the G20 Presidency of Indonesia and in efforts to globalise the Overview Effect this decade, Alpha1Strategy said.

On January 7, 2020, Alpha1Strategy CEO Talal Malik published his article about the decade of the 2020s being that of globalising the Overview Effect, the cognitive shift astronauts have experienced on viewing the Earth from Space.
Frank White, the Harvard and Oxford-educated space philosopher who wrote the seminal 1987 book titled ‘The Overview Effect’ based on his numerous interviews with 29 astronauts, which is now 40 astronauts today,positively cited Talal Malik’s perspective in his July 2020 article.
‘In 2021, the world witnessed space tourism companies such as Virgin Galactic, Space X and Blue Origin take the first space tourists into orbit around the Earth, allowing them to experience the Overview Effect, and demonstrating how this opportunity will start to become more globalised in this decade,’ said Talal Malik.
The milestone space tourism flight for Virgin Galactic, with British billionaire entrepreneur of Virgin, Sir Richard Branson, on-board, went into space on July 11, 2021, followed nine days later on by the space flight for Blue Origin, with American billionaire entrepreneur of Amazon, Jeff Bezos, on-board, on July 20, 2021, with Space X, led by South African-Canadian-American billionaire Elon Musk, launching its own private Inspiration4 space flight on September 16, 2021, with 4 non-professional astronauts on-board.
The 77th session of the UN General Assembly (UNGA 77) will be held from September 13-27, 2022 with the first day of the high-level General Debate on September 20 whilst the G20 Leaders Summit 2022 will be held in Bali, Indonesia, on October 30-31, 2022.
The United Nations has 193 countries as members as part of its General Assembly with its Agenda 2030 for the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and G20 economies account for 90% of gross world product, 80% of world trade, two-thirds of the world population and approximately half of the world’s area.
